Financial Office Policy/Insurance
Financial Policy
All of our patients receive the same excellent dental care for the same fees, with the exception of senior citizens, age 65 and older, who receive a reduction in fees. If dental treatment is recommended, we will give you an estimate of the cost, so that you can make financial arrangements with your office manager, prior to beginning treatment. These arrangements include cash, personal checks, charge cards as well as other options.
Insurance
If you have dental insurance, we will be happy to work with you to estimate the benefits available under your insurance policy; however, because your insurance is a contract between you and your carrier, we will not be aware of policy changes unless you notify us. We can not guarantee that the insurance company will pay the exact amount we estimate. Most insurance policies have a deductible and pay a percentage of a certain maximum fee (UCF). Because of this, we require a 35% co-payment at the time of treatment of most minor dental procedures, and a 50% co-payment on restorative dental work. If benefit payments are slightly different than estimated, we will reimburse or bill you the difference.
We are always available to answer any questions you have about insurance claims. Please feel free to call our office at any time about this.
